Making twine using plant materials

FREEBy connecting with our environment and using what is around us we can sustainably create what we need, when we need it. At either of these two hands-on wānaka, learn a simple two-ply technique that turns plant fibres into useful and decorative twine, string and even rope. Harakeke harvesting tikanga will be discussed; various plant fibres will be provided. Campus protocols are in place so masks must be worn.
