Greater Green Island communities and Dunedin City Baptist Church invite Ōtepoti hapori whānui to join our celebration of wānaka and whanaukataka this Māori New Year. Learn about the seasonal tohu and practices, enjoy He Waka Kōtuia and local schools’ kapa haka, try your hand at mahi ā-ringa, join in waiata, visit StarLab and hear about kā whetū o te tau, and share a kai with us.

We start the hui all together with mihi whakatau, and finish with a lantern and light stick parade. Nau mai, haere mai – bring the whole whānau!
