Puaka Matariki at the Opera House Garden

Free family-fun event in the Opera House Garden, with pūrākau – stories and histories, star making and painting, lanterns and flax waka making for launching into the stream at Orokonui Lagoon.
There will be hangi and music and beautiful lights to remember those who have passed on and to welcome in te tau hou – the new year.
