Join Kāi Tahu dancers Rachel Ruckstuhl-Mann and Cathy Livermore in a special, inclusive programme enabling greater connections to self within a Te Ao Māori framework through guided movement, kōrero and Māori Mindfulness. If you are a mover or not, this wānaka will wake, shake and free up your mind, body and spirit. Come for the day or for a session, all ages and abilities are welcome!

Mauri Hauora Workshop

Tihei mauri ora! The new year brings new beginnings and is a perfect time to release what doesn’t enhance your wellbeing. Assess, uplift and strengthen your hauora (holistic health) and sense of self (mana takata) with Ariana Sutton (Kāi Tahu) who shares tools to add to your wellness kete and pass on to whānau.

The workshop includes kōhatu kōrero, rongoā māori, mauri tau (relaxation) and mauri movement techniques. Follow this with one-to-one healing; session times to suit.
